Senior Software Architect (Jakarta- Remote)

Responsibilities

• Conduct a thorough assessment of the existing architecture of Token Metrics to identify areas for enhancement.
• Develop and supervise the implementation of scalable solutions aimed at accommodating a large user base.
• Collaborate with various teams to ensure technical solutions align with organizational goals.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to the development team in technical matters.
• Keep updated on emerging technologies and trends to propose innovative solutions.
• Ensure the security and reliability of Token Metrics' platforms on a large scale.
• Create and maintain architectural documentation and set standards.
• Implement strategies to significantly minimize bugs in the platform.
• Improve the quality assurance process to enhance the reliability of our engineering output.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of software development experience, with at least 5 years in a senior architectural role.
• Advanced knowledge of system design and architecture principles.
• Demonstrated experience in scaling applications for high user volumes.
• Profound understanding of OLAP and OLTP databases, with specific expertise in Snowflake.
• Proficiency in modern web technologies and frameworks, including Next.js, Supabase, Tailwind, and Shadcn.
• Strong background in cloud computing and distributed systems.
• Relevant certification such as Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and strategic thinking abilities.
• Effective communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Extensive experience in implementing strategies for bug reduction and software quality enhancement.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in cryptocurrency or fintech sectors.
• Knowledge of blockchain technologies and decentralized applications.
• Familiarity with machine learning and AI, especially in the context of trading algorithms.
• Successful track record of managing large-scale system migrations.
• Contributions to open-source projects or published technical articles.
