Backend Engineer
Description
We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and enhancing software for various ventures projects. These projects are closely related to our core businesses and are rapidly developed with a lean team. In this role, you will actively contribute to designing diverse components for scalable applications, spanning from frontend UI to backend infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Develop backend services and operations, including proposing architectural decisions, engaging in design reviews, coding, conducting code reviews, and implementing features
- Solve complex problems within large-scale backend infrastructure by identifying and implementing effective solutions
- Offer technical operational support to address customer issues efficiently
- Initiate improvements within the technology stack to drive long-term engineering initiatives
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Golang, Postgres, Redis, and Kafka is preferred
- Strong communication skills and adept at stakeholder management, with the ability to manage requirements from various stakeholders
- Experience in architectural designs, security protocols, and optimizing performance in a high-traffic environment
- Understanding of the Fintech, Sports, or Prediction markets is advantageous
