Senior Software Developer ( Ruby on Rails )

We are seeking a skilled individual to contribute to the design, development, maintenance, and enhancement of software for various venture projects. These projects are closely related to our core businesses and are rapidly initiated with a compact team. As a member of our team, you will play a significant role in designing different elements of scalable applications, spanning from frontend user interfaces to backend infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Engage in activities encompassing backend service and operation development, suggesting architectural decisions, engaging in designs, conducting design reviews, coding, performing code reviews, and implementing products that connect developers and end-users.
• Contribute to the development and expansion of our retail trading products into new regions and countries.
• Identify and rectify issues within complex problems in large-scale backend infrastructure.
• Deliver reliable and responsive trading information streams to customers.
• Provide technical operational support to address customer issues.
• Act as a project owner and foster innovation by remaining receptive to new technologies and encouraging experimentation.
• Collaborate closely with the DevOps and Infrastructure team to enhance the technology stack for long-term engineering endeavors.
• Maintain documentation for all implemented code and functionalities.

Requirements

• Passion for creating high-quality products to solve real-world problems, familiarity with various technologies, self-driven, quick learner, and possess a proactive attitude towards accomplishing tasks.
• Willingness to embrace better ideas from others, eager to enhance processes, adaptable to challenges and possibilities.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to address conflicting requirements from multiple stakeholders.
• Understanding of financial domain knowledge and Blockchain technology would be advantageous.
• Proficient in Ruby, with experience in other programming languages being beneficial.
• Proficiency in Postgres, Redis, and Kafka is desirable.
• Experienced in managing scalability, security, and performance optimization.
