Senior Software Developer - Ruby on Rails

As a team member, you will actively contribute to crafting various components that power scalable applications, encompassing frontend UI to backend infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Conduct development tasks such as backend service and operation development, suggesting architectural choices, engaging in designs, design reviews, coding, code reviews, and product implementations connecting developers and end-users.
• Enhance retail trading products and expand offerings to new regions and countries.
• Identify and address issues in complex problems within large-scale backend infrastructure.
• Deliver reliable and responsive trading information streams to customers.
• Offer technical operational support for resolving customer issues.
• Take ownership of projects and foster innovation by embracing new technologies and encouraging experimentation.
• Collaborate closely with the DevOps and Infrastructure teams to enhance the technology stack for long-term engineering initiatives.
• Manage documentation for all implemented code and functionalities.

Requirements

• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage conflicting requirements from various stakeholders.
• Familiarity with financial domain knowledge and/or Blockchain technology is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Ruby, with experience in other programming languages being a plus.
• Proficiency in Postgres, Redis, and Kafka is desirable.
• Experienced in addressing scalability, security, and performance optimizations.
