Position Overview: DFINITY is in search of a proficient Senior Software Engineer to contribute to the integration of AI agents on the Internet Computer platform. Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement a distributed system that delivers foundational LLMs to smart contracts on the Internet Computer, emphasizing reliability, security, and determinism.
  • Influence the vision of AI agents on the Internet Computer by developing frameworks, libraries, and tools that streamline agent creation and stimulate adoption.
  • Enhance the core protocol's efficiency to advance the performance, scalability, and latency of AI agents.
  • Collaborate on the core protocol to refine the efficiency and latency of AI agents.
  • Assist in mapping out the future trajectory of AI on the Internet Computer.
  • Participate in representing DFINITY at various conferences and events.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Software Engineering Expertise:

    • Demonstrated background as a Senior Software Engineer with a history of constructing production-quality systems from scratch.
    • Proficient coding abilities coupled with a zeal for solving intricate technical challenges.
    • Strong focus on details and an analytics-driven approach to decision-making.
  • AI Proficiency:

    • Practical exposure to deep learning frameworks.
    • Proficiency in AI fundamentals.
  • Experience with GPUs (Beneficial):

    • Prior engagement in GPU programming (e.g., CUDA) for high-performance computing.

Kindly note that this position necessitates working in our Zurich office for 3 days each week.
