Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities
- Work with the Ads Delivery Team to develop new features for GIPHY's ad delivery systems.
- Maintain and upgrade existing ad delivery systems and features, ensuring security patches and improvements are implemented.
- Identify and resolve performance issues, bugs, and bottlenecks.
- Contribute to the overall code quality, organization, and automation.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure stability, reusability, and interoperability of code.
Requirements
Essential Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or relevant experience as an app developer
- Proficient in Scala programming language
- Experience with Rest and gRPC
- Familiarity with Elastic Search
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS
- Proficient in Git and code versioning tools
- Experience in Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CICD) and best practices
- Strong debugging skills to troubleshoot performance issues
