Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop scalable, high-performance backend systems: Build and maintain robust, scalable, and efficient backend systems capable of handling significant traffic and data.
  • Optimize system performance: Monitor and optimize the performance of the backend system to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Implement security and data protection: Establish security measures to safeguard the system from external threats and ensure data protection.
  • Develop and maintain APIs: Design, develop, and maintain APIs used by frontend applications to interact with the backend systems.
  • Support products and services in production when released.
  • Manage and maintain databases: Design and manage efficient, scalable, and secure databases to store application data.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues: Take responsibility for troubleshooting and resolving issues in the backend system in a timely and efficient manner.

Requirements:

  • Experience with Nest.js, PostgreSQL, Heroku, Docker, and Typescript.
  • Familiarity with Functional programming.
  • 3+ years of full-time or part-time software development experience at an IT/Fintech company or as a back-end engineer.
  • Passion for gaming and/or Web3/Decentralized technologies.
