Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Frontend Engineer to join our team at BitGo. Our focus is on delivering top-tier software for our cryptocurrency platform, catering to various exchanges, agencies, and governments globally. The ideal candidate will work closely with design and product teams, enhance UI functionality, and promote codebase health.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with design and product teams to create new UIs
- Enhance existing UI functionality across multiple products
- Develop reusable code for future projects
- Improve codebase health
- Communicate with stakeholders to grasp implementation requirements
- Mentor peers through code reviews and best practice education
- Provide maintenance and performance enhancements to current applications
Skills & Experience:
We seek individuals who align with our values of open communication, transparency, ownership, and craftsmanship. Required qualifications include:
- Minimum 5 years of frontend engineering experience
- Proficiency in React
- Advanced knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, and HTML
- Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks
- Proficiency in Node.js and Express applications
- Familiarity with design systems
- Experience with testing methodologies
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Nice to have:
- Interest in cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology
- Familiarity with Tailwind, React-Query, NextJS
