Description
We are looking for a team player to participate in the design, development, maintenance, and enhancement of software for various innovative projects that support our core businesses. These are fast-paced projects that require a lean team. You will play a key role in designing the components for scalable applications, covering both frontend UI and backend infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Carry out backend service and operation development tasks, suggesting architectural decisions, participating in design processes, conducting design reviews, coding, performing code reviews, and implementing products that connect developers and end-users.
- Develop retail trading products and expand the product reach to new regions and countries.
- Identify and address complex problems within large-scale backend infrastructure.
- Deliver reliable and responsive trading information streams to our customers.
- Offer technical operational support to resolve customer issues.
- Take ownership of projects, fostering innovation by remaining receptive to new technologies and promoting experimentation.
- Work closely with the DevOps and Infrastructure team to enhance the technology stack for long-term engineering endeavors.
- Maintain documentation for all implemented code and functionalities.
Requirements
- Passion for creating top-notch products to solve real-world problems, proficient in various technologies, self-driven, quick to learn, and with a proactive attitude to getting things done.
- Willingness to accept better ideas from others, drive towards continuous improvement, open to challenges and possibilities.
- Strong organization and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage conflicting requirements from multiple stakeholders.
- Knowledge of financial domain concepts and Blockchain technology would be beneficial.
- Proficiency in Ruby, Golang, and experience with other programming languages is advantageous.
- Prior experience with Postgres, Redis, Kafka is preferred.
- Familiarity with managing scalability, security, and performance optimization.
