Senior Software Engineer (Golang/Ruby on Rails) - Fiat

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our dynamic team focused on designing, developing, maintaining, and enhancing software for a range of venture projects. These projects complement our core businesses and are swiftly developed with a lean team. As part of this team, you will play a crucial role in designing various components for scalable applications, spanning from frontend UI to backend infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Engage in backend service and operation development, propose architectural decisions, participate in design processes, conduct design reviews, contribute to coding and code reviews, and implement products that connect to developers and end-users.
• Develop retail trading products and extend our product offerings to new regions and countries.
• Identify and address issues, as well as devise solutions for complex problems within extensive backend infrastructure.
• Provide customers with dependable and responsive trading information streams.
• Offer technical operational support to troubleshoot customer concerns.
• Take ownership of projects, fostering innovation through a proactive approach to new technologies and encouraging experimentation.
• Collaborate closely with the DevOps and Infrastructure team to enhance the technology stack for long-term engineering projects.
• Maintain documentation for all implemented code and functionalities.

• Prior experience with financial or payment systems is highly advantageous.
• Proficiency in Ruby and Golang; exposure to other programming languages is beneficial.
• Knowledge of Postgres, Redis, and Kafka is desirable.
• Experience in addressing scalability, security concerns, and optimizing performance.
