Senior Software Engineer (Golang/Ruby on Rails) - Fiat

We are seeking a proactive individual to join our team focused on creating, enhancing, and maintaining software for various venture projects aligned with our core businesses. We aim to rapidly bootstrap these projects with a lean team. The role involves active participation in designing scalable applications, encompassing both frontend UI and backend infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Carry out backend service and operation development tasks while contributing to architectural decisions, design discussions, code implementations, and product alignments.
• Develop retail trading products and facilitate product expansion into new regions and markets.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues within a large-scale backend infrastructure.
• Deliver reliable trading information streams to customers and provide technical support as needed.
• Take ownership of projects, fostering innovation by exploring new technologies and promoting experimentation.
• Collaborate with the DevOps and Infrastructure team to enhance the technology stack for sustainable engineering projects.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of implemented code and features.

• Possess strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to navigate conflicting priorities from diverse stakeholders effectively.
• Prior experience with financial or payment systems is highly desirable.
• Proficient in Ruby and Golang, with familiarity in other programming languages considered a plus.
• Prefer knowledge of Postgres, Redis, and Kafka.
• Skilled in managing scalability, security, and performance optimization.
