BitGo is currently seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join its HeightZero team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create scalable, well abstracted, and robust APIs, libraries, and services to seamlessly integrate blockchains and BitGo features into HeightZero products.
- Assume ownership of functionality and scalability aspects from research to deployment.
- Develop integration libraries and SDKs for interaction with server and APIs.
- Document and expose functionality for UI, third-party developers, and internal/external tooling.
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams and product managers to ensure consistent technical understanding and work quality.
- Provide mentorship to peers in the engineering team, conducting code reviews and promoting best practices.
Required Skills & Experience:

- Minimum 6 years of experience in full-stack software development.
- Proficiency in React.js, Node.js, and TypeScript.
- Strong sense of design related to UI/UX.
- Skilled in unit and functional testing, and debugging.
- Experience with Git/GitHub, branching methodologies, code review tools, CI tools, etc.
- Understanding and interest in cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology.
- Proven capability to construct simple and extensible abstractions for complex systems.
- Expertise in algorithm design, problem-solving, and complexity analysis.
- Experience in designing and implementing various database types.
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment with discipline and ownership of tasks.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in blockchain or security industries.
- Familiarity with microservices and service-oriented architectures.
- Experience with AWS Amplify, ELB, and EC2.
- Real-world experience in building scalable distributed systems.
