Description
We are seeking a team member to play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and enhancing software for diverse venture projects. These projects complement our core businesses and are executed efficiently with a focused team. Your responsibilities will involve actively contributing to the design of various components essential for scalable applications, encompassing both frontend UI and backend infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure optimal performance of the entire stack, covering hardware, software, applications, and network.
- Conduct thorough investigations into reliability issues, collaborating with software and DevOps engineers to implement effective fixes.
- Enhance availability, reliability, and observability while reducing manual effort through automation and advanced tooling.
- Spearhead initiatives that enhance operational efficiencies within the SRE domain.
- Participate in system design reviews and operational readiness activities for new and existing services as a representative of the SRE team.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in coding with Ruby and/or Go.
- Familiarity with GitOps principles and tools like Github Actions, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Experience in designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.
- Inquisitive nature for identifying root causes of incidents and outages.
- Strong ability to build relationships, drive impact, and promote alignment.
- Aptitude for fault-tolerant system architecture design.
- Comfort in ambiguous situations and a willingness to learn and adapt rapidly.
- Experience in incident management and response.
