Description
As a Senior/Staff Software Engineer, you will play a key role within our core technology team driving our cutting-edge high-frequency trading platform to new heights. You will be tasked with crafting inventive and straightforward solutions for intricate challenges, overseeing the revamp of our engineering problem-solving approaches, and guiding the team in making substantial enhancements. Responsibilities
- Take charge of designing major software components, systems, and features
- Develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance our core libraries
- Revamp our current software architecture for enhanced efficiency, scalability, reduced time and effort, and minimized potential for future development errors
- Apply advanced algorithms and data structures to boost the speed and accuracy of our tick-by-tick backtesting research platform
- Engage with traders directly to relay technology changes, manage incidents, and troubleshoot issues
- Contribute to technical dialogues, conduct code reviews, and share internally
- Provide guidance and training on design methodologies and coding standards to fellow team members
Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Senior level: 5+ years / Staff level: 8+ years of extensive practical programming experience utilizing C++14 (avoiding C-style C++) in a linux environment
- Demonstrate hands-on technical leadership proficiency by leading software engineers and shaping technical strategies
- Possess a robust grasp of computer systems, multithreading, networks, and performance optimization
- Exhibit experience in designing and developing large-scale software systems
- Display strong written communication skills and intermediate proficiency in English
- Exhibit genuine enthusiasm and inquisitiveness for quantitative trading and cryptocurrency markets
Preferred Qualifications
- Competence in low-latency C++
- Proficiency in developing low-latency systems
