As CQuel gains momentum and approaches the stage of achieving Product-Market fit, they are expanding their team.
The ideal candidate for the role of Senior Engineer at CQuel will be an experienced Sustainability Solutions engineer with an entrepreneurial mindset. This individual will serve as the resident expert overseeing all aspects of the decarbonization journey for CQuel. Apart from possessing a strong technical background in decarbonizing commercial buildings, the successful applicant must excel at ensuring optimal performance from CQuel's network of freelance engineers, software providers, and net-zero installers.
In this role, the Senior Engineer will be responsible for tasks such as reviewing building assessments, ensuring quality tendering processes, onboarding new Solution Partners, efficiently managing technical operations contractors, and providing expertise during the delivery phase of technical solutions. Additionally, they will be instrumental in shaping internal processes and offering technical guidance to the engineering team for top-of-the-line software development.
The ideal candidate should hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, Technical Management, or Architecture, or possess equivalent qualifications. They should demonstrate a thorough understanding of decarbonization technologies relevant to commercial buildings, have real-world engineering experience, excel at building strong relationships, thrive on streamlining processes and raising standards continuously, and have exposure to early-stage digital startup environments or similar fast-paced settings.
