CQuel's objective is to streamline the decarbonization process for commercial properties by utilizing cutting-edge technologies and expert insights on a centralized platform. With a dedicated team boasting substantial experience in sustainability, real estate, and decarbonization, CQuel is primed for expansion.

Role Summary

We are in search of a seasoned Sustainability Solutions engineer with an entrepreneurial spirit to play a pivotal role in overseeing the decarbonization journey at CQuel. This individual must possess in-depth technical proficiency in commercial building decarbonization and utilize this expertise to ensure optimal performance from CQuel's roster of freelance engineers, software providers, and net-zero installers.

Responsibilities include:

• Guiding and validating building assessments conducted by CQuel's partners
• Ensuring quality in the tendering processes on CQuel’s platform
• Facilitating the onboarding of new Solution Partners and technology providers
• Managing a pool of technical contractors to efficiently execute projects
• Supervising CQuel's involvement in technical solution delivery for assets
• Defining internal processes and imparting engineering expertise to enhance software development

Experience Requirements

Our ideal Senior Engineer should ideally have:

• A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, Technical Management, or Architecture
• Proficiency in decarbonization technologies such as solar, heat pumps, demand optimization, and BMS upgrades
• Substantial experience in the engineering field within medium- to large-sized building companies
• Strong relationship-building skills with partners and colleagues
• A passion for refining processes and elevating standards continuously
• Exposure to fast-paced start-up environments or equivalent growth-oriented settings
