Challenge
We are seeking a skilled Senior UI Engineer to join our team and contribute to shaping our software's design and delivery. In this role, you will collaborate with Technical Architects and UX Designers to create reusable UI components, establish top practices, and enhance the frontend architecture to deliver high-quality user experiences. Your responsibilities will involve directly impacting multiple teams, as you enhance the consistency and efficiency of our UI development.
Responsibilities
- Define and implement standard UI patterns and reusable components for increased consistency across engineering teams.
- Collaborate with UX Designers to refine requirements and ensure balance between feasibility and usability.
- Develop accessible and maintainable React components following best practices.
- Produce clean, secure, and efficient code for maximum scalability and maintainability.
- Create unit tests and contribute to automated testing strategies.
- Conduct code reviews, provide feedback, and mentor colleagues to promote continuous improvement.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex UI issues to maintain a seamless user experience.
- Document patterns, solutions, and best practices via technical writing and discussions.
- Make informed technical decisions by considering trade-offs between performance, maintainability, and business impact.
- Work closely with Product and UX teams to craft engaging web experiences.
Requirements
Mandatory Skills
- Advanced/fluent English skills - Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience in building SaaS products in a cloud-based environment, particularly with AWS and cloud best practices.
- Proficiency in React, TypeScript, .NET, and Node.js, along with a deep understanding of modern web technologies.
- Strong grasp of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, MVC patterns, and secure web application development.
- Expertise in producing maintainable code, unit testing, and automated testing strategies (Jest, @testing-library/react), as well as familiarity with Docker, Nginx, CI/CD pipelines, and virtualization technologies.
- Understanding of security best practices and capabilities in developing scalable, high-performance web applications.

Collaborate with the Iron Key team on deal sourcing and portfolio management.
Engage with investors and team members to develop investment strategies.
Contribute to thought leadership on topics related to venture capital and Web3 innovation.
Qualifications:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate investment opportunities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with team members and stakeholders.
Experience in Web3, AI, or related technologies is preferred.
Involvement in startups, entrepreneurial ecosystems, or Web3 communities is a plus.
Aspiring to transition into venture capital or professionalize angel investing skills.
Bonus: Previous experience as a founder or working within early-stage startups.
