About the Role

Toku's focus is on developing token compensation and compliance solutions that simplify stablecoin payroll management, invoicing, token payroll, cap tables, and trading plan compliance. We are seeking a UI Engineer to conceptualize and construct interfaces that streamline these intricate financial workflows, making them user-friendly, scalable, and efficient.

In this position, you will collaborate closely with design, product, and backend teams to craft seamless user experiences for financial transactions. Your responsibilities will include building high-performance, modular UI components, optimizing for speed and clarity, and upholding the platform's security, accessibility, and usability standards.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build a highly performant, scalable, and intuitive front-end for a complex financial application
• Design user interactions that enhance user experience and simplify complex tasks
• Develop intelligent UI components that anticipate user requirements and offer real-time feedback
• Establish a design system and component library to ensure consistency, accessibility, and brand cohesion
• Optimize for rapid load times and smooth interactions using advanced web technologies
• Create real-time financial dashboards and transaction interfaces employing sophisticated data visualization techniques
• Design workflows that guide users effortlessly through financial operations while minimizing complexity
• Ensure robust security in the UI layer with features like strong session management and role-based access control
• Drive performance optimization efforts to provide an ultra-fast, low-latency user experience
• Collaborate cross-functionally with design, product, and backend teams for seamless full-stack integration

Minimum Qualifications

• 7+ years of front-end engineering experience working on large-scale web applications
• Proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript, with expertise in React, Vue, or SolidJS
• Extensive knowledge of state management tools like Zustand, Recoil, Redux, or React Query
• Proven ability to develop high-performance, real-time financial interfaces
• Experience in building component-based UI architectures and design systems
• Expertise in advanced animations and interactions tools such as Framer Motion or GSAP
• Strong background in secure UI development, including multi-factor authentication and encryption
• Familiarity with progressive web apps, server-side rendering, and hydration strategies
• Understanding of data visualization tools for presenting complex financial data

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in fintech or enterprise financial software for senior individual contributors
• Previous involvement in developing products from inception in high-growth startups
• Ability to work autonomously and focus on execution without strict processes
• Keen interest in designing innovative, user-centric interfaces with a balance of form and function
