Senior Unreal Engine Generalist
- Seedify MetaStudios is currently seeking a skilled and proficient Generalist Game Engineer to become part of Seedworld, an exceptional User-Generated Content (UGC) platform within the gaming industry. The suitable candidate should possess a thorough understanding of implementing various gaming systems using Unreal Engine, and must have experience in collaborating with fellow engineers to establish multiple systems for scalable gaming projects.
Responsibilities:
Work closely with art, design, and development teams to ensure that both visual and functional requirements are met.
Implement a diverse range of game systems for prototyping and beyond.
Enhance and optimize existing systems (e.g., gameplay, AI, data management).
Develop neat, efficient, and sustainable code.
Engage in code reviews.
Generate and manage technical documentation.
Stay knowledgeable about Unreal Engine updates and enhancements.
Conduct debugging and profiling tasks.
Experience:
Proficient in using Unreal Engine 5.
Proven record in delivering prompt prototypes.
Background in working with interdisciplinary teams.
Expertise in implementing scalable solutions.
Preferred experience with UI design in AAA projects, especially in MMO or UGC settings.
Nice to have/Preferred/Bonus skills:
Working knowledge of C++.
Hands-on experience in contributing to the creation of MMOs, Metaverses, or AAA projects using Unreal Engine 5.
Familiarity with blockchain projects.
Proficiency in optimizing, profiling, and debugging in Unreal Engine 5.
Experience in developing engine editor tools.
Team Structure:
This role will involve functioning as a key member of the UE game engineering team (Seedwolrd) within Seedify MetaStudios. You will closely collaborate with other UE engineers and liaise with design and art teams to execute various core aspects of game development or provide support in their implementation alongside fellow engineers.
