Site Manager
Founded in 2014, Ledger is the global platform for digital assets and Web3, with a substantial portion of the world's crypto assets protected by our Ledger Nanos.
Headquartered in Paris and Vierzon, Ledger has established offices in various countries and boasts a team of over 900 professionals focused on developing a range of products and services that allow individuals and businesses to securely manage crypto assets. One of our flagship products is the Ledger hardware wallets, with millions of units sold worldwide.
We are in search of a skilled logistics and manufacturing manager to oversee the global operations in Vierzon while driving continuous improvement through the application of total quality management principles. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in logistics and supply chain management, along with a proven track record in implementing and maintaining an ISO 9001 certified quality management system.
Responsibilities:
Global Logistics & Shipping Management
- Manage global logistics operations encompassing warehousing, transportation, and inventory management.
- Negotiate contracts with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and logistics service providers to secure optimal rates and services.
Quality Management
- Implement and supervise a Total Quality Management system across the Ledger industrial site in Vierzon.
- Lead the efforts to acquire and sustain ISO 9001 certification, including preparation, documentation, and audit coordination.
- Ensure compliance with international quality standards and supervise that Ledger's quality processes align with manufacturing partners.
Team Management & Development
- Lead and cultivate a team of approximately 30 logistics and manufacturing professionals, nurturing a culture of continuous enhancement and excellence.
- Provide guidance and training on best practices related to logistics and quality management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in English with demonstrated ability to work effectively in an international setting.
- At least 8 years of experience in a logistics or supply chain management role within a global organization.
- Proven expertise in Total Quality Management and the ISO 9001 certification process.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills suitable for managing complex global supply chains.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with proficiency in English. Knowledge of additional languages is advantageous.
- Willingness to travel occasionally (5 to 10% of the time).
