Job Summary:

Flawless is seeking talented and forward-thinking Engineers to join a dynamic, collaborative team dedicated to creating cutting-edge software tailored for empowering creative professionals in the film industry. Primary Technologies:

• Python for application development and research
• Temporal for workflow orchestration
• Terraform and Docker for service scheduling and execution
• AWS for managing the majority of our infrastructure
• React for building user-facing web applications

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain products using Python in alignment with company-wide coding and testing standards.
• Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback on adherence to best practices, and ensure code quality, accuracy, testability, and efficiency.
• Contribute to documentation updates based on product enhancements and user feedback.
• Collaborate with the team to deliver product features and solve moderate-scale engineering challenges.
• Assist in deconstructing medium-sized engineering problems in conjunction with senior engineers.

Interview Process:

The interview process at Flawless centers on showcasing your capabilities effectively. It involves three interview rounds, interspersed with casual conversations either via Zoom or in-person.

• Recruiting Screen: A 30-45 minute discussion with the recruitment team to understand your motivations and interests, and evaluate mutual fit.
• Coding Interview: A 60-minute Zoom session for a technical paired-programming task with a member of the engineering team.
• Team Interview: A 2.5-3 hour onsite session, where you will interact with potential colleagues to gauge your collaborative abilities and technical expertise.
