Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join the Delta One Trading Team. This role presents a distinctive opportunity to gain exposure to crypto delta-one strategy formulation, trading system development, and evolve alongside the company and industry experts. The chosen candidate will collaborate closely with a veteran team proficient in Crypto and Traditional Finance trading, contributing to the delivery of exceptional features.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with traders in detailed strategy discussions and technical planning.
• Develop and deploy low-latency trading systems and strategies in Java.
• Provide support for trading strategies in dynamic market conditions.

Qualifications

• Proficient in low-latency Java programming:
• Ability to evaluate latency effects based on design choices.
• Skilled in optimizing for hotpath garbage collection and minimizing allocations.
• Familiarity with different garbage collector types and their impact on latency.
• Capable of diagnosing latency and performance issues in critical Java applications.
• Knowledge of Python (pandas, matplotlib) is advantageous.
• Experience with ChronicleQueue software is a bonus.
• STEM education background.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Hands-on experience in automated testing and continuous integration.
