Job Summary:
BitGo, a prominent digital asset solutions provider, offers a range of services such as custody, wallets, staking, trading, financing, and settlement from regulated cold storage. Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement robust APIs, libraries, and services to drive financial services like clearing, settlement, digital asset lending, trading, and liquidity.
- Take charge of feature ownership and scalability elements from inception to deployment and customer integration.
- Communicate and document functionalities for UI, third-party developers, as well as internal and external tools.
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure alignment on technical requirements and work quality.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to peers through code reviews and promoting best practices.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of back-end server-side software development experience.
- Background in Financial Services and/or Financial Technology.
- Proficiency in algorithm design, problem-solving, and complexity analysis.
- Strong knowledge of server-side languages like TypeScript/Node.JS.
- Experience with SQL databases such as Postgres or MySQL.
- Expertise in RESTful API design, unit testing, and debugging.
- Familiarity with microservices, service-oriented architectures, Git/GitHub, and related tools.
- Ability to collaborate within a fast-paced environment and participate in on-call rotations.
Preferred Skills:
- Understanding of asynchronous programming and functional programming.
- Exposure to financial accounting systems like general ledger and bookkeeping.
- Familiarity with digital asset trading, lending, and wallets, as well as React full-stack development.
- Experience in large-scale, real-time, and distributed applications.
- Demonstrated ability to work with clients and have a keen interest in the cryptocurrency and blockchain industry.

Pay Transparency Notice: Depending on your level and location, typical compensation for this role ranges from $150,000 to $180,000 USD base salary. Additionally, equity, an annual bonus, and various benefits are included in the total package.
