We are seeking a talented Software Engineering Intern with expertise in Scala to join our team.
Responsibilities during the internship include:
- Enhancing the performance and capabilities of the SwissBorg Ledger by utilizing advanced, high-performing databases such as TigerBeetle
- Developing a monadic workflow system library for managing complex workflows within the SwissBorg ecosystem
- Creating a scalable blockchain indexing system to support
- Designing a ChatOps library for Scala to facilitate seamless movement of information in and out of Slack for operational purposes
- Establishing SwissBorg identity on the blockchain by implementing various functionalities like ENS/SNS, NFTs linked to user profiles, and personal addresses
- Constructing a functional event-sourcing library in Scala to scale the distributed system architecture effectively
- Developing a distributed membership system on Kubernetes in Scala to enhance service reliability
Moreover, exploring alternative applications of Passkeys beyond their primary usage, such as using them in on-chain authentication scenarios.
Requirements:
- Must commit to a minimum 6-month internship
- Internship based in Lausanne, Switzerland
- Must be in the final year of university studies
- Starting date commencing January 2025
- Proficiency in Scala
- Strong interest in the Crypto ecosystem
