Focus:
As a Technical Account Manager, you'll get to leverage your expertise in data analysis and customer empowerment. Day to day, you'll engage with clients, offering insights on cost intelligence, addressing cost growth challenges, and guiding them on their FinOps journey. This could involve discussing resource usage with the engineering team, tagging strategies with operations, or cost trends with executives, all within the same day!
Responsibilities:
- Drive ongoing client onboarding and implementation, including handling ad hoc requests
- Cultivate strong relationships across various client personas and provide specialized insights to gain trust across teams
- Communicate value propositions and track performance metrics by conducting regular executive business reviews
- Be the advocate for customer success with product, engineering, and go-to-market teams, collaborating across teams to drive innovation and represent customer needs
- Introduce new products/features and lead the business outcomes process with clients
- Resolve complex customer/ vendor issues and anticipate service challenges proactively
- Monitor customer adoption metrics to maintain high NPS scores
- Support client retention and expansion within your designated segment
- Enhance internal customer control mechanisms for operational efficiency
- Develop scalable technical solutions based on best practices, customer needs, and evolving requirements
- Conduct joint success planning workshops, analysis, and testing for internal projects aimed at improving tools and capabilities
- Establish and maintain data analysis standards for clear and concise communication with stakeholders
Requirements:
Mandatory Skills:
- Proficiency in English communication
- Availability to work during core hours in the EST timezone
- Strong consulting experience in AWS, GCP, and/or Azure services
- Familiarity with financial analysis and optimization of cloud services
- Understanding of cloud cost allocation and resource management
- Ability to work with complex data sets, utilizing Excel functionalities such as vlookups, pivot tables, etc.
Nice-to-Have:
- FinOps Certified Practitioner
- Certification in AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Experience in creating BI dashboards and SQL authoring
