Sr. Technical Account Manager - Automation Test Engineer

As a Technical Account Manager (TAM) at Ubiminds, you will play a critical role in ensuring successful technical onboarding, adoption, and sustained customer success post-sale. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong engineering background who are passionate about diving into code, test frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines. Your focus will be on guiding customers to maximize their usage of Applitools to streamline their development workflows.
Responsibilities
Technical Onboarding & Time-to-Value
- Lead the technical onboarding process for new customers
- Conduct hands-on sessions to implement across test frameworks and CI/CD pipelines
- Assist customers in aligning initial use cases with their success criteria
- Ensure customers achieve significant value quickly and confidently
Adoption & Ongoing Technical Success
- Drive consistent adoption across teams, projects, and workflows
- Aid customers in expanding test coverage, standardizing best practices, and increasing usage over time
- Offer expert guidance on test automation strategy and quality maturity
- Identify adoption gaps and recommend technical enhancements proactively
Technical Ownership & Problem Solving
- Serve as the main technical contact for assigned accounts
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges in collaboration with the support team
- Conduct technical health checks, architecture reviews, and optimization sessions
- Lead root cause analysis for escalations and recurring issues
Customer Advocacy & Risk Management
- Proactively identify technical risks that may impact customer satisfaction or renewal
- Partner with Customer Success Managers to ensure technical validation for renewals and expansions
- Advocate for customer needs by communicating feedback with Product and Engineering teams
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate closely with various teams including Product, Engineering, Support, Sales, and Customer Success
- Contribute to playbook development, best practices, and enablement materials
- Help enhance internal processes to deliver scalable technical customer success
Requirements
- Advanced/fluent English skills are essential
- A strong background in engineering, with experience in Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or similar languages (minimum 5+ years)
- Proficiency in test automation frameworks, APIs, and CI/CD pipelines
- Sound understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and solve complex technical issues
- Comfortable working with senior engineers and technical leaders directly
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in QA Test automation or DevOps
- Familiarity with test automation frameworks like Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress
- Previous experience in a customer-facing technical role
- Background in Quality Engineering, Software Development, or DevOps
- Experience supporting customers at different maturity levels and organizational structures
