We are in search of a proficient Senior Frontend Developer with specialized skills in React to enrich our development team. In this position, you will collaborate closely with our UI/UX designers and backend developers to craft visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces for our web applications. Additionally, there is an opportunity to contribute to backend development processes if you possess JavaScript backend expertise.
Responsibilities
- Spearhead the creation and enhancement of high-quality, efficient React components for our web applications, in adherence to best practices and coding conventions.
- Work alongside UI/UX designers to translate design mockups into responsive and engaging user interfaces.
- Enhance application speed and scalability while ensuring compatibility across various browsers.
- Collaborate with backend developers to integrate frontend elements with backend APIs, ensuring seamless communication.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering continuous learning.
- Engage in code reviews to maintain code quality and consistency throughout the team.
- Stay updated with the latest frontend development trends and propose innovative ideas to enrich our products.
- Drive architectural decisions and contribute to enhancing the frontend infrastructure.
- Collaborate with product managers to define and implement new features and product roadmaps.
Requirements
- Extensive expertise in React with a proven track record in leading complex frontend projects.
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Experience with state management libraries like Redux or MobX.
- Familiarity with frontend build tools and package managers such as Vite and npm.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
- Sound grasp of version control systems, preferably Git.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Demonstrated experience in mentoring junior engineers and guiding technical decisions.
Desirable Skills (Backend)
- Proficiency in backend technologies including Node.js and Express.js.
- Knowledge of relational (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB) databases.
- Understanding of server-side development and API design.
- Ability to troubleshoot and optimize backend performance.
