Responsibilities:

Joining Circle as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer entails designing, constructing, and maintaining the company's infrastructure to prioritize the needs of its growing global customer base on public cloud platforms worldwide. Leveraging your expertise and skill set, you will ensure the consistent, efficient performance of Circle's products and core systems. Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting diverse development teams with an agile and responsive CI/CD platform to ensure high-quality builds with measurable performance and quality.
• Building, optimizing, scaling, and securing cloud infrastructure using IaC tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible.
• Automation of operational tasks using languages like Go, Python, and serverless deployments such as AWS Lambda and Kubernetes Jobs.
• Managing and monitoring Kubernetes clusters for multiple production workloads.
• Implementing blockchain infrastructure through creating and managing blockchain nodes across various blockchain platforms.
• Participating in an on-call rotation for proactive mitigation of production system disruptions and conducting root cause analyses.
• Planning and testing disaster recovery scenarios within a highly available microservices architecture.
• Collaborating with the Security team to implement and maintain security-focused frameworks and tools while upholding a top-tier security posture.
• Engaging in team mentoring, contributing to team growth and scaling endeavors within the organization.

Skills and Qualifications expected:

Senior Site Reliability Engineer (III):

• 4+ years of experience in DevOps or SRE roles with a focus on tooling, automation, and infrastructure on major public cloud providers.
• Proficiency in coding/scripting (Go, Python, Shell) is essential.
• Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining CI/CD platforms and supporting agile engineering teams.
• Exposure to diverse areas such as deploying containers in Kubernetes clusters, CI/CD platforms, blockchain systems, and network routing.
• Strong observability, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills along with clear communication abilities.

Staff Site Reliability Engineer (IV):

• In addition to the requirements for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer, this role mandates 7+ years of experience in DevOps or SRE roles with deep technical leadership experiences.
• Expertise in API design, cloud services, containers, SQL databases, and coding standards and quality.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Senior Site Reliability Engineer:

• Base Salary Range: $147,500 - $195,000

• Annual Bonus Target: 12.5%

• Staff Site Reliability Engineer:

• Base Salary Range: $172,500 - $227,500

• Annual Bonus Target: 15%
