We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tech Lead to join our Payments team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the development, integration, and optimization of our payment systems to deliver a world-class on/off-ramp experience for Wallet users. This role requires a deep understanding of the global payment landscape, team management skills, and a strong focus on user experience and security. The Tech Lead should be both hands-on in personally contributing to the product and capable of effectively managing and mentoring the team.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the Payments team in the development and enhancement of on/off-ramp features for our custodial crypto wallet.
- Oversee the integration of third-party payment providers, ensuring seamless and secure connections.
- Actively participate in coding, architecture design, and other hands-on technical tasks.
- Ensure the stability and scalability of our payment systems to handle a growing global user base.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, Security, and Operations, to deliver high-quality features and improvements.
- Analyze and monitor system performance, identifying areas for optimization and implementing solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in global payments and cryptocurrency on-ramps.
- Mentor and guide team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in global payment providers integration. Experience in crypto on-ramps will be an advantage.
- Proven experience in leading and managing technical teams.
- Strong understanding of global payment systems and providers.
- Experience with integrating third-party payment providers.
- Hands-on technical expertise in Python with the ability to personally contribute to product development.
