The Technology Governance team offers security guidance to OKX entities worldwide, collaborating with various teams internally to support business growth and ensure compliance with global requirements and regulations.
Role Summary
As a Security Engineer within the Technology Governance & Compliance team at OKX, you will oversee initiatives aimed at enhancing our global security programs. You will play a key role in driving cross-functional projects that elevate the security levels of all OKX products and services by providing expertise in designing and implementing critical security controls and technologies.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert advice on the implementation of Policies & Procedures (P&P).
- Conduct IT and architecture governance consulting.
- Ensure alignment of requirements with business objectives.
- Engage effectively with external auditors and regulators.
- Stay informed on industry trends and best practices.
- Mentor and support the professional growth of junior team members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in software development, IT architecture, or a related field.
- Demonstrated expertise in P&P implementation and IT governance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Proficiency in English and Mandarin languages is preferred.
