Description
Our client is in search of a skilled Unity Engineer to join their innovative game development team focusing on AI-powered gaming experiences. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the overall architecture of the global content infrastructure, with a specific focus on the UI domain within the Unity engine. You will collaborate closely with UI Designers and Artists to translate design concepts from Figma into C# implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop foundational UI and localization systems to support the game library and ensure consistency and scalability across all games.
- Work with UI Designers to create Unity interfaces based on Figma designs and establish a library of responsive UI elements.
- Establish a complete localization pipeline and internationalization framework, including modernizing legacy systems in existing games.
- Build custom Unity Editor tools and workflows to facilitate the work of designers, content creators, and translators, while optimizing UI performance for different devices.
- Implement engaging animations and interactions and participate in technical discussions to uphold high standards of code quality.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in C# and Unity development with practical software development experience.
- Thorough understanding of Unity UI development using tools like uGUI or UI Toolkit.
- Familiarity with asset management techniques such as Addressables or Asset Bundles.
- Experience with asynchronous programming in Unity, including tools like UniTask, async/await, or coroutines.
