Description

As a Video/Motion Editor you will be responsible for creating high-quality Concept illustrations and motion graphics and Micro -Interactions to support in-house projects related to Plena’s website, Applications and marketing collaterals. You will work closely with our design team & project managers to deliver engaging visual content that meets and exceeds the industry standards. The ideal candidate should have a strong portfolio showcasing their creative skills, attention to detail, and ability to work within set deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Create visually compelling concept illustrations and motion graphics for a diverse range of projects, including marketing campaigns, product visualizations, and educational content
  • Collaborate with the design team, project managers, and clients to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality work on time and within budget.
  • Develop concepts, storyboards, and style frames to communicate design ideas and project direction effectively.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and techniques to continuously improve your skills and the quality of your work.
  • Participate in project meetings and provide input to enhance the overall design process.
  • Maintain a well-organized project workflow, ensuring all assets are easy to access and share with team members.
  • Assist in the development of new business pitches and proposals as needed.
  • 3D Illustrator skills if there would be a plus point

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in graphic design, animation, visual arts, or a related field.
  2. A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Concept illustration and motion design.
  3. Strong proficiency in rendering, and animation software (such asBlender, or Maya).
  4. Proficiency in motion graphics and compositing software (such as Adobe After Effects, Nuke,Pro Motion or Fusion).
  5. Solid understanding of animation principles, including timing, spacing, and dynamics.
  6. Excellent design sense, with a strong grasp of typography, color theory, and composition.
  7. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.
  8. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively with team members and clients.
  9. A proactive attitude and a willingness to take on new challenges and learn new skills.
  10. A portfolio showcasing a diverse range of Concept illustration and motion design work.

Responsibilities include editing trailers, designing social media assets, and leading post-production activities for various marketing initiatives—from sizzle reels to keynote visuals. Job Duties:

Edit a wide spectrum of video content spanning social media clips, trailers, tutorials, behind-the-scenes footage, client testimonials, and content demonstrating thought leadership.

Manage the post-production phase from initial ingest to final release—managing editing, sound mixing, color correction, and overall finishing touches.

Work collaboratively across teams to brainstorm ideas, create storyboards, and refine the overall creative direction.

Strike a balance between speed and quality, delivering speedy results without compromising on excellence.

Supervise external editors or motion designers as requested, offering clear guidance and constructive feedback.

Desired Skills:

Extensive editing experience (5+ years) in professional settings, preferably within film, technology, or agency environments.
