Job Responsibilities:
- Creating and implementing a comprehensive compliance program tailored to the fintech sector.
- Monitoring regulatory modifications and advising senior management proactively ensuring adherence to regulations.
- Conducting compliance risk assessments and deploying controls to mitigate risks across products and services.
- Managing relationships with MAS, auditors, and market experts to uphold compliance standards.
- Offering expertise in MAS regulatory frameworks to support new business initiatives.
- Overseeing anti-money laundering (AML), know your customer (KYC), Counter Financing of Terrorism (CFT) and fraud prevention frameworks as the MLRO.
- Providing compliance training programs for employees on regulatory compliance and company policies.
- Coordinating audits and investigations related to compliance irregularities.
- Routinely reporting compliance and risk metrics to the Senior Management team.
- Upholding listing framework compliance in line with exchange rules.
- Guaranteeing the platform's products and services adhere to regulatory standards and supporting the development of new offerings.
- Instilling a compliance and ethical behavior culture within the organization.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; additional certifications like CAMS, CRCM, CCEP are advantageous.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of compliance experience, including at least 2 years in a fintech leadership capacity.
- Deep understanding of financial regulations in Singapore; knowledge of other markets is a plus.
- Proficiency in the fintech landscape and adaptability to a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Upholds high ethical standards and displays integrity.
