Looking for talented web3 dev/Agency
Hi, I’m working on an early-stage idea called NitroGem and looking for a Web3 developer to help build the MVP.
The idea is pretty simple. On most platforms, engagement like likes, comments, or polls doesn’t really change anything meaningful. Rankings and visibility are still controlled by algorithms or centralized systems.
What I want to test is a different approach where user actions directly affect ranking, and ranking determines what gets visibility. So instead of engagement being passive, it actually has a measurable impact.
This creates a system where users act more intentionally. If actions that influence ranking are limited or have some cost, people tend to think more carefully about how they use them. Over time, this can turn into competition for visibility based on collective user input rather than just paying for exposure.
The main goal of this MVP is not to build a full product, but to test behavior. I want to see if users come back more often when their actions clearly affect outcomes, and whether the system can stay active on its own.
From a build perspective, this doesn’t need to be complex. Users should be able to take simple actions like voting or staking, those actions should affect a ranking, and that ranking should control what is visible. A wallet connection and a basic interface are enough for now.
I’m flexible on the tech stack, but something like React/Next.js with standard Web3 tools (ethers, wagmi, etc.) and an L2 chain would make sense. It’s also fine if most logic is off-chain for the MVP.
I’m looking for someone with Web3 or dApp experience who can build something clean and practical without overcomplicating it.
This starts as an MVP project, but if things go well, I’d like to continue working together and turn this into a more complete product.
Budget is open and depends on your approach and experience.
If you’re interested, send some of your past work and a short note on how you’d approach this.
