Overview:
We are in search of a proficient Lead Engineer to drive the implementation of sophisticated AI technologies, notably transformer models, to combat fraudulent activities efficiently. This critical role demands an AI expert in fraud detection systems, capable of integrating intricate models into our risk infrastructure to uphold and enhance platform security.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and deployment of advanced AI models, particularly focusing on transformer models for the detection and mitigation of fraudulent activities.
- Utilize transformer models to analyze sequential user data, enabling a deeper understanding of behavioral patterns indicative of potential fraud.
- Collaborate with data engineering teams to optimize data inputs and train transformer models to secure high accuracy in fraud detection.
- Continuously assess and refine AI model performance, incorporating the latest machine learning and AI techniques.
- Demonstrate the models to stakeholders in alignment with their expectations, and provide mentorship to team members on AI technologies and methodologies. Oversee anti-fraud work planning and project management.
Required Qualifications:
- Possession of an advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related fields.
- Minimum of 10 years in technology roles, including a robust experience of at least 5 years in fraud detection and prevention, with hands-on involvement in AI and machine learning technologies.
- Demonstrable expertise in deep learning model development, user behavior analytics, and fraud detection implementations.
- Hands-on practice with feature design, transformer, and clustering algorithms.
- Strong leadership skills in managing technical teams and delivering complex systems focused on fraud prevention and risk mitigation.
- Proficiency in problem-solving, strategic thinking, and communication is essential.
