AI Product Manager

Position Overview:

We are in search of a dynamic and forward-thinking individual to take on the role of AI Product Manager at our company. The selected candidate will be responsible for leading the integration of innovative AI capabilities into our User-Generated Content (UGC) platform. They will need to define the AI strategy, identify pioneering AI features, and manage a multidisciplinary team of AI specialists, comprising engineers and product designers. The ideal candidate will possess a robust technical understanding of AI technologies coupled with a visionary outlook to shape the future of UGC creation and engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Vision and Roadmapping:

• Develop and communicate a forward-looking AI strategy aligned with the platform's objectives and user requirements.

• Identify opportunities to utilize AI for enhancing content creation, moderation, personalization, and user engagement.

• Establish and oversee a roadmap for AI-driven features that balances immediate successes with long-term innovation.

• AI Feature Identification and Development:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to brainstorm, prototype, and refine innovative AI-powered tools like Generative AI for content creation, AI-driven moderation, and personalization algorithms.

• Specify feature requirements to ensure feasibility and alignment with technical and business goals.

• Team Building and Leadership:

• Recruit, hire, and oversee a high-performing team of AI product specialists, including engineers, data scientists, and AI researchers.

• Cultivate a collaborative and innovative environment that encourages team members to experiment and deliver cutting-edge solutions.

• Provide mentorship and opportunities for professional growth, fostering a culture of excellence and curiosity.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Work with engineering, design, marketing, and other teams to deliver AI features that resonate with creators and users.

• Act as the primary link between the AI team and leadership, translating technical insights into business prospects.

• Facilitate communication among internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment on AI goals and deliverables.

• Data-Driven Decision Making:

• Leverage data analytics and user feedback to guide AI feature prioritization and optimization.

• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) for AI tools, iterating based on performance and user satisfaction.

• Stay updated on AI industry trends and advancements to incorporate relevant innovations into the platform.

Qualifications:

• Experience:

• A proven track record (minimum 5 years) in product management, with a preference for experience in AI-driven products.

• Strong background in AI/ML technologies and their applications in consumer-facing platforms.

• Experience in managing and expanding multidisciplinary teams, focusing on AI or tech innovation.

• Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of generative AI, NLP, computer vision, and AI moderation systems.

• Strong analytical skills to interpret data and make informed decisions.

• Outstanding communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.

• Education:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or related field. MBA is a plus.
