In this role, you will play a pivotal part in a global engineering organization undergoing an AI-native transformation. Your primary objective will be to help engineering teams transition to modern AI development practices, enhancing their productivity significantly.
As the AI Transformation Lead, you will bring together your engineering prowess, AI tooling proficiency, and developer coaching skills to enable teams to seamlessly incorporate AI-powered workflows into their daily development routines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead AI Jam Sessions to guide engineers in adopting AI-powered workflows through hands-on experience
- Demonstrate practical development workflows using Cursor, GitHub Copilot, and Claude
- Establish and manage a Super-Builder guild to promote peer-driven AI adoption
- Provide hands-on coaching to engineers in integrating AI tools effectively
- Identify and address barriers to AI adoption, such as limitations in prompting, workflow mismatch, or tooling friction
- Develop personalized prompting guides and workflow templates to suit real-world scenarios
- Maintain an evolving AI Playbook outlining best practices and patterns
- Offer ongoing support through prompting clinics and office hours
- Analyze engineering workflows to pinpoint areas for AI acceleration
- Monitor adoption metrics and liaise with analytics teams
- Foster collaboration across distributed teams in Latin America and the U.S.
- Mentor engineers and elevate AI-native engineering communities
Required Skills:
- 6+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, Tech Lead, or Principal Engineer
- Proficiency in TypeScript, Python, Go, Java, or related languages
- Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants in daily practices
- Advanced familiarity with Cursor, GitHub Copilot, and Claude
- Solid understanding of prompt engineering and workflow integration
- Previous experience conducting workshops, hackathons, or live coding sessions
- Background in mentoring engineers or leading technical communities
- Prior exposure to distributed team environments
- Excellent English communication skills
- Located in Latin America with overlap in U.S. time zones
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with agent frameworks, AI-driven DevEx, or developer tooling
- Expertise in enterprise SaaS environments or AI platforms
- Background in designing technical curricula or training programs
