About the role:

The Cryptocurrency Algorithmic Trader role involves creating innovative models and algorithms to navigate the dynamic realm of digital currencies. Responsibilities include offering insights into cryptocurrency market behaviors and crafting state-of-the-art automated trading algorithms.

Tasks may encompass analyzing market microstructure to optimize algorithm performance, designing advanced computing architectures, and implementing novel trading strategies. Your contribution will be vital in leveraging quantitative and technological approaches to address complex business challenges. Specifically, you may focus on tasks like enhancing existing trading algorithms, developing computer systems architectures, and devising data-driven trading models.

Responsibilities:

• Employ cutting-edge automated trading algorithms customized for cryptocurrency markets, conduct detailed research to refine trading strategies, and enhance risk management techniques.
• Collaborate closely with a team of specialists to devise solutions for automated trading in the rapidly changing crypto market.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in cryptocurrency to apply insights effectively.

Your Profile:

• Hold a Ph.D. or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Quantitative Finance, or a related technical field.
• Possess strong logical reasoning and analytical skills.
• Have experience in coding to process and analyze large datasets.
• Demonstrate proficiency in software development and engineering principles.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in electronic trading, particularly in fx/futures, as a developer or researcher would be advantageous.
• Solid software development skills, especially in lower-level languages and Python.
• Familiarity with the unique characteristics of cryptocurrency markets and blockchain technology.
