Anti Cheat Engineer
Seedworld Studios is seeking an Anti Cheat Engineer to be a part of our team dedicated to maintaining the integrity and security of our multiplayer gaming experience. The primary focus of this role is on implementing robust anti-cheat solutions, including integrating Epic Online Services, and fortifying internal systems to prevent exploitation and secure gameplay fairness.
This role plays a crucial part in upholding fair play, safeguarding our network, and assisting developers with best practices in game security.
Responsibilities:
Take charge of incorporating and upkeeping anti-cheat solutions within the game engine, such as Epic Online Services.
Ensure the security of game clients and servers.
Identify and resolve vulnerabilities, cheats, and exploits.
Safeguard low-level network interactions.
Develop and update documentation regarding optimal game security practices.
Educate developers and content managers on security protocols.
Monitor and enhance anti-cheat systems and processes.
Requirements:
Proficiency in Unreal Engine 4 and 5, with a minimum of 4-5 years of experience.
Strong programming aptitude in C/C++ along with knowledge of multithreading.
Previous experience with Epic Online Services (anti-cheat) or similar integrations.
Understanding of networking technologies and multiplayer game vulnerabilities.
Excellent teamwork, communication, and attention to detail skills.
Self-driven, analytical mindset, and effective problem-solving capabilities.
Nice to Have:
Proficiency in reverse engineering to analyze malicious code.
Reverse engineering skills and familiarity with tools like IDA Pro or Ghidra.
Experience with packet capturing tools and traffic analysis (e.g., Wireshark).
Acquaintance with Web3.

Fully remote position.
