Description
Responsibilities
- Serve as a knowledgeable consultant to HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition teams, employees, and managers regarding immigration and mobility policies, procedures, and associated paperwork.
- Handle and address escalation and exception requests from both employees and the business.
- Take charge of the entire visa application process, providing advisory support on immigration requirements to ensure adherence to local regulations and company guidelines.
- Coordinate with external vendors, immigration agencies, and service providers to facilitate seamless relocations and/or recruitment of foreign talents.
- Stay updated on immigration, visa, and work permit regulations within APAC regions.
- Manage payments to vendors and associated duties.
- Maintain a repository of relevant documentation, expense reimbursements, and benefit records.
- Accurately update and manage relocation and visa records in the HR information system to effectively handle visa renewals and benefit extensions.
- Administer relocation benefits, allowances, and support packages for assignees.
- Assist in enhancing the global mobility process, including policies, tools, and systems.
- Provide support for miscellaneous HR tasks as required.
Requirements
- Oversee complete relocation and mobility processes for employees assigned to APAC nations like Hong Kong, Thailand, Japan, and others.
- Monitor and report on relocation progress to ensure timely completion of all tasks.
- Possess a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Demonstrable experience in global mobility, relocation, or immigration management.
- Familiarity with immigration laws and visa prerequisites in APAC territories.
- Strong organizational and record-keeping abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Aptitude for handling high seasonal workloads, maintaining confidentiality, and managing sensitive information with discretion.
- Exhibit professionalism, adaptability, agility, robust problem-solving skills, and a client-focused approach.
