Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed and thorough test cases and plans.
  • Create and implement automation scripts and conduct manual investigations to address backend user issues.
  • Analyze root causes of test script failures and product issues.
  • Identify gaps in existing test scripts and enhance coverage through additional scripting.
  • Conduct investigatory testing of unreleased features, defining requirements, expected behavior, and impact.
  • Collaborate closely with developers and product teams to ensure product reliability and stability.

Requirements:

  • More than 8 years of experience in QA/Testing, preferred experience in backend or large-scale distributed systems.
  • Solid experience in middleware and microservice governance testing, with exposure to white-box testing.
  • Proficiency in Java with the ability to code from scratch.
  • Strong SQL knowledge and hands-on coding skills.
  • Experience in designing comprehensive test case frameworks and automation design processes.
  • Proven ability to conduct root cause analysis, address systemic issues, and suggest effective solutions.
  • Previous open-source project contributions are a bonus.
  • Management experience such as mentoring, guiding, or leading a QA team is advantageous.
  • Recognized as a domain expert with broad technical knowledge, capable of effectively handling production issues.
  • Smart, analytical, and adaptable, with the ability to apply learning across contexts and solve problems holistically.
