Job Overview:
The role of an Assistant Site Manager in Mining Operations at CleanSpark is crucial to the company's bitcoin mining operations. They play a key role within a larger team that provides round-the-clock coverage and support for the mining centers while assisting the engineering and facilities teams.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Lead a team of skilled technicians, providing both tactical and strategic guidance to ensure optimal performance levels.
- Collaborate with the site manager to foster innovation and drive continuous improvement, aiming to maintain uptime levels of 99% or higher.
- Ensure compliance with procedures and policies that exceed local Health & Safety standards for bitcoin mining facilities.
- Analyze and deliver reports on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) regarding critical facility operations.
- Address workforce and operational concerns, coordinating with leadership for effective resolution.
- Assist in project deployment tasks as needed.
- Perform additional duties as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Education: High School diploma or GED Equivalent.
- Experience: Ideally, a minimum of 1 year of technical experience in a bitcoin mining facility.
- Specific skills: Strong leadership capabilities, effective communication skills, ability to work independently and efficiently complete assigned tasks, basic computer proficiency.
