Role Overview
LayerZero is looking for a skilled Corporate Counsel to join our team, playing a vital role in enhancing blockchain interoperability and influencing the development of decentralised applications. You will collaborate closely with various teams within the organisation, offering legal insight and advice across a spectrum of commercial, employment, and technical issues. Your direct supervisor will be the General Counsel.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle contract structuring, drafting, negotiation, and counsel on partnership agreements.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
- Back LayerZero’s technology advancement targets and engage in special projects when needed.
- Create and deliver legal training to business and procurement teams.
- Provide legal guidance to business partners on a range of legal matters.
- Assist in enhancing LayerZero's contracting procedures through cross-functional key initiatives. • Offer versatile input covering multiple commercial work streams, emphasizing support for the Business Development division.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of legal practice experience at a reputable law firm or large in-house legal team.
- Member of the British Columbia Bar, US state bar, or eligibility for registration under the British Columbia Bar and to join an in-house counsel program.
- Proficient in crafting and negotiating intricate technology agreements.
- Demonstrated capacity to manage multiple projects concurrently in a dynamic setting, with excellent prioritisation capabilities.
- Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

KYB Analyst - Periodic Review (Spanish & English)
Main Responsibilities:
Review the legal documents of corporate clients and their associates
Monitor personal workload and promptly escalate significant risks or issues to senior management
