BitGo is currently seeking a Software Engineer to enrich its Blockchain Team and collaborate on developing new features and applications for enterprise clients. This position offers a distinctive opportunity to be part of the founding team for BitGo's operations in India, with close collaboration among skilled engineers, product managers, and security experts at BitGo.
Responsibilities:
- Construct durable APIs, libraries, and services to drive the functionality of wallet services such as hot and cold wallets, indexing, staking, and SDK services.
- Own the implementation of features and scalability enhancements from inception through deployment and integration for clients.
- Document and expose functionality to UI, third-party developers, and internal and external tooling.
- Collaborate extensively with all engineering teams to ensure consistent understanding of technical requirements and work quality.
- Offer mentorship to colleagues across the broader engineering team through code reviews and sharing best practices.
Skills & Experience:

Required:
- Minimum 3 years of backend, server-side software development experience.
- Proficient in algorithm design, problem-solving, and complexity analysis.

- Solid experience in RESTful API design.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficiency in Git/GitHub, branching methodologies, code review tools, CI tools, JIRA, Confluence, etc.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, applied mathematics, or a related technical field from a top university.
Preferred:
- Understanding and work experience in decentralized finance or centralized financial sectors.
- Knowledge and keen interest in cryptocurrencies and the blockchain industry.
