Backend Software Engineer, Trading Infrastructure

Job Overview:

sFOX is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our Trading Infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and implementing trading systems for traditional finance or crypto trading industries. This role involves developing scalable infrastructure to process high volumes of orders and provide top-notch services to financial clients using technologies like Golang, C#, or Java.

Responsibilities:

• Enhance the speed and functionality of the trading infrastructure by working on new features, trading algorithms, exchange integrations, optimizations, and platform enhancements.
• Collaborate with the CTO office to influence system architecture and roadmap decisions.
• Work closely with the Product Management team to strategize on new features, improve service performance, and conduct testing.
• Gain in-depth knowledge of our trading systems and related services to become a subject matter expert.
• Utilize deductive reasoning to solve complex problems beyond the immediate environment.

Requirements:

• Proven track record in designing and implementing trading systems, with expertise in order types, routing, exchange management, and systems performance.
• Experience in building high-performance, low-latency distributed trading systems.
• 8-10 years of hands-on software engineering experience, preferred expertise in Golang, C#, or Java frameworks.
• Ability to take ownership of projects from conception to deployment, emphasizing code quality, testing infrastructure, speed, security, and user experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Passion for cryptocurrency and blockchain technologies.
• Experience with data manipulation using SQL and Snowflake.
