The Binance Accelerator Program (BAP) is an internship initiative lasting 3-6 months, structured to provide Early Career talent with practical exposure to the rapidly evolving digital assets landscape. The program also offers networking opportunities and professional development to help expand participants' professional network and foster transferable skills for career advancement.
Prospective applicants for the Binance Accelerator Program include current university students and recent graduates.
Binance's content community business, Binance Square, encompasses various elements such as Feed recommendation, content publishing, livestreaming, creator center, and content moderation. The product undergoes frequent iterations with a release cycle of one version every three weeks, spanning six platforms: Android, iOS, Web, Admin, Mini Program, and Backend.
In this role, you will become part of a 3-person QA team working on the full testing cycle of a high-traffic product. The team has established a robust toolchain, including automated tracking validation, test data generation plugins, regression scripts, and an online test case platform, allowing you to swiftly integrate into the mature testing process and contribute effectively.
Responsibilities
- Conduct functional and regression testing on multiple platforms (Android / iOS / Web / Admin) following predefined test cases and utilize existing scripts and online spreadsheets for recording results.
- Utilize in-house event tracking validation tools to compare logs, ensure data reporting adheres to set specifications, and log tickets for any unidentified tracking points.
- Perform cross-platform compatibility checks and replicate issues reported post-production.
- Generate test data using provided tools, prepare test accounts, and scenarios.
- Report clear and reproducible bugs, verify fixes through testing, and follow up until resolution.
- Update test case documentation to align with changing requirements.
Requirements
- Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Management, or related fields.
- Familiarity with fundamental software testing concepts, including test cases and bug lifecycle. Hands-on experience with Chrome DevTools for network requests and JSON understanding.
- Detail-oriented and patient with the ability to perform repetitive validation tasks efficiently.
- Strong written communication skills for articulating steps for issue reproduction and results effectively.
