Responsibilities
Support senior algorithm engineers in designing and maintaining search and recommendation services and models in content-related scenarios, assisting the content team to enhance the content ecosystem.
Aid in enhancing content matching accuracy and distribution efficiency by utilizing machine learning-driven personalization techniques, and contribute to basic model tuning and impact assessment.
Acquire knowledge of recommendation system principles in the content domain, collaborate in AI product development to elevate user content experience and key business metrics.
Contribute to the development and deployment of core content recommendation modules, and help implement data-centered strategies for optimizing content value and user engagement.
Collaborate with content, business, and product teams to identify and capitalize on opportunities in content scenarios, collaborating on defining core success metrics.
Requirements
Currently pursuing a degree in Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, or related fields at the Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD level.
Proficient in Python with a solid programming foundation, well-versed in at least one mainstream machine learning framework, and possess a grasp of fundamental machine learning algorithm theories.
Basic understanding of search and recommendation system fundamentals, with a preference for relevant coursework, competition experience, or campus project involvement.
Proficient in SQL for handling large-scale data cleaning and aiding in feature engineering, showcasing strong hands-on abilities.
Strong problem-solving skills, quick learning capability, exceptional cross-team communication skills, commitment to a minimum of 6 months full-time internship.
Preferred Qualifications: Record of publications or submissions to top-tier conferences/journals, internship experience related to search & recommendation systems, involvement in content-focused recommendation system projects.
