Binance is seeking individuals to join the Security team under the Binance Accelerator Program - Security Data Science role. Responsibilities include leveraging statistical techniques and algorithms to enhance detection, analysis, and defense against hacker attacks or fraudulent activities, as well as overseeing security projects, providing security education, and developing user-facing security products through collaboration with cross-functional teams.

This full-time position is open to students or recent graduates who can commit to at least four days a week.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to security system development and maintenance.
• Execute interface documentation for business modules.
• Manage and upgrade existing systems and provide support for system enhancement.
• Collaborate with security analysts in platform issue resolution and system improvement.

Qualifications

• Enrolled as a full-time undergraduate/graduate student with good academic standing.
• Available for at least four days per week for a minimum of six months (starting from April 2024).
• Proficiency in Java or Python with knowledge of multithreading, networking, along with experience in Spring Boot and Spring Cloud development.
• Familiarity with MySQL and at least one NoSQL database.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.

Additional Considerations

• Web development experience.
• Prior involvement in the web3 or security domain.
• Previous engagement in risk or security platform development.
• Knowledge of big data components like Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Flink.
• Proficiency in spring cloud and microservice architecture design.
• Experience in performance tuning on JVM, SQL, RPC, etc.
