Blockchain Analyst (Financial Intelligence Unit)
Our Compliance Infrastructure team focuses on developing and maintaining systems, processes, and technologies that support the organization's compliance activities, particularly in the areas of financial crimes and compliance operations. The team ensures adherence to anti-money laundering (AML), sanctions, and anti-bribery and corruption (ABC) regulations.
The Blockchain Analyst will be part of the team reporting to the Director, Financial Crimes. The role involves various tasks to support the Compliance Program of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct complex investigations on escalated cases.
- Perform proactive blockchain-based investigations.
- Create briefs and reports on various issues.
- Analyze and synthesize data into detailed reports.
- Provide training and support to other analysts.
- Maintain expertise in BSA/AML compliance.
- Attend assigned BSA training sessions.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in blockchain-based investigations.
- Strong understanding of blockchain technology.
- Proficient in BSA/AML regulations.
- Experience in conducting complex investigations with multi-sourced data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Effective time management abilities.
- Capacity to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Relevant certifications or coursework.
- Experience in open-source research/OSINT.
- Familiarity with threat actors in cryptocurrencies.
- Proficiency in a second language is advantageous.
