Responsibilities
The Business Development Senior Manager/Executive is responsible for driving business development initiatives within the Partner program in the CIS region. This role involves devising and executing strategies to cultivate partnerships and key accounts. The Senior Manager will collaborate closely with various stakeholders such as regional and global growth teams, product and engineering teams, and Business Intelligence teams. Additionally, they will oversee a team of regional sales professionals.
The individual in this role will actively identify and engage with potential partners, key opinion leaders (KOLs), key accounts, and advanced traders in the CIS region to facilitate user acquisition, expansion, and promotion of OKX's platform and products.
Key Responsibilities
- Spearhead revenue growth from key accounts and expand business partnerships
- Lead a team of affiliate business development managers focused on key markets, setting strategies and KPI targets
- Identify and foster relationships with partners, affiliates, KOLs, and key accounts for future business opportunities
- Cultivate relationships with local key trading accounts and influencers, leveraging partnerships for user acquisition and revenue growth
- Contribute to regional strategies aligned with company objectives, recommending and implementing action plans
- Drive commercial negotiations with new and existing partners, proposing innovative business models as necessary
- Collaborate with Product & Engineering teams on development activities
- Participate in regional marketing events and stay informed about industry trends and customer insights
- Adhere to the company's guidelines and practices
Qualifications
- Proven sales experience in Cryptocurrency, Finance, FX, or related industries, with a track record of building extensive partnership networks
- Background in account management or business development, preferably leading revenue-generating teams
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines
- Analytical mindset and data-driven approach to problem-solving
- Familiarity with affiliate program or partnership program KPIs and optimization techniques
- Willingness to travel for business within CIS, MENA, SEA, or other regions
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with diverse internal and external stakeholders
- Fluency in English and native Russian required
